Commissioning is the point where design intent, electrical infrastructure, control programming, and user experience are brought into alignment. It includes verifying device addressing, confirming load behavior, testing communication between subsystems, setting dimming performance, refining scenes, labeling controls, and validating how the system performs in real conditions.

For a luxury project, this process reaches beyond simple functionality. It asks whether the cove lighting fades at the right pace for an evening setting.
